Creativity, content, composition and technique as well as a compelling story behind your photograph are the key criteria for the judges.

The four categories are:

People and Wind

Wind energy boosts local economies and provides jobs, as well as improving infrastructure and supporting local communities.

In this category, your photos should either show how your community is involved with wind energy or share photos from your wind farms visits.

Working in Wind

The wind energy industry is growing rapidly, employing over a million people across the globe.

In this category, your photos should represent people working in the industry, factories or in wind installation.

Beautiful Wind

Wind farms signify real progress towards a sustainable energy system. Not only that, together with the natural environment they can generate stunning images.

In this category, your photos should show wind energy working in harmony with nature.

Beyond Wind

This category is a little different. Here your photos can show something other than wind turbines.

Perhaps your community has benefited from funds raised by a local wind farm, such as financial assistance to a community group, the restoration of a local park or educating children on renewable energy. In this category your photos should show a moment or tell a story behind the wind farm.
