Chinese steel giant Baowu’s subsidiary Baosteel has announced the integration of its one-million-tonnes-per-year direct-reduced iron (DRI) facility with its wider Zhanjiang steel mill — which it dubs the first “near-zero-carbon production line” for green steel.
