Around 30 different pan-African initiatives pitched their transformative solutions at this year’s Africa’s Green Economy Summit (AGES). The curated pipeline spanned crucial sectors from climate-smart agriculture to clean energy, underscoring the continent’s pivotal role in the global green transition.

The Pitch Programme at AGES is the culmination of extensive market research and rigorous evaluation – with the various initiatives representing the cutting edge of green and blue economy solutions.

AGES delegates watched and listened as various SMME entrepreneurs and project developers pitched their vetted ideas to financiers. Being part of the pitch sessions also meant access to a mentorship programme on how to pitch your project, ensuring participants were investor-ready and equipped with compelling narratives.

The Expansion & Infrastructure Pitch Stage is designed for growth-ready enterprises and large-scale projects poised to amplify their impact. This stage connects established, high-potential initiatives with strategic capital — unlocking the next phase of Africa’s green economy transformation.

Watch Brian Atkins, Eden People and Planet/ Compassionate Carbon, representing Rubejo Mountains Carbon Project (Tanzania); Olu Ademuwagun, CEO of Noblesse Green Energy (Nigeria); Luke Metelerkamp, Senior Professional Office – iCLEI Africa (alliance of local governments across the continent); and Dr Roelie Kloppers, CEO of the Wildtrust and Ezemvelop KZN Wildlife explain their projects.
