Position:Energy and Environment Policy Analyst, Environment and Climate Change Unit

Experience Requirements:The IEA is seeking an experienced analyst, keen to deliver robust analysis and policy insights to strengthen alignment between national climate and energy policy. The analyst will work within a small, dynamic team on both analytical projects and external engagement with countries. The candidate should have an advanced university degree in a relevant discipline, and five to eight years of experience with analysis of energy policy issues relating to environmental aspects (climate, air quality, water), or vice versa, in an international or internationally-oriented environment focused on public policy or policy-relevant research. They should have excellent drafting, quantitative and interpersonal skills; experience with energy, environmental or climate policy in a developing or emerging economy context is an asset. Applicants must be nationals of an OECD member country.
