The construction sector is the first energy consumer  in Europe and the largest source of carbon dioxide emissions, accounting for about 40% of total energy consumption and 40% of total CO2 emissions. The processes ofbuilding construction and operation must be changed in order to use as little energy as possible (almost zero). According to the bioclimatic architectural design, a building should initially have a sheltered shell so that it does not absorb large amounts of solar radiation, which is then reflected in the urban tissue, nor does it lose the internal energy that offers a particular thermal comfort in the spaces within. Open surfaces must be made of materials that do not allow large losses. Regarding the building's heating, cooling and electrical condition, there must be self-sufficiency to avoid over-reliance on electricity which, in addition to high costs, it in turn causes temperature rise due to the production of high greenhouse gas emissions.
