We are at a crossroads. Do we continue on our current path, which will lead to a bleak future for humankind, or do we pivot to a more sustainable development pathway? That is the choice our political leaders must make, now.”

The Global Environment Outlook is UN Environment Programme’s flagship environmental assessment that reviews the state of the global environment, the effectiveness of our policy response and the pathways we might use to achieve a more sustainable future. The sixth edition of the Global Environment Outlook has been in preparation for more than two years by a group of more than 200 experts.
