GORD and Al-Attiyah Foundation Celebrate Partnership Agreement.

The Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah International Foundation for Energy and Sustainable Development (Al-Attiyah Foundation) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Gulf Organisation for Research & Development (GORD) on 12 September 2019, at the St Regis Hotel, Doha.

His Excellency Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah said “I am pleased to sign a partnership agreement with GORD to develop studies, research and projects of mutual interest.   I look forward to seeing the positive outcomes of our collaboration as both organizations work towards improving awareness and understanding of the actions required to create a sustainable future.”

Dr. Yousef Mohamed Alhorr, Founding Chairman, GORD, added, “It is a pleasure and honour for GORD to join hands with Al-Attiyah Foundation to develop capacity, conduct studies and develop projects on sustainability and climate mitigation in the region. This partnership of both the organizations will bring to the fore the rich mix of implementation experience and thought leadership for a sustainable and low-carbon economy of the region.”

Sustainability Summit 2019

The Al-Attiyah Foundation is a Strategic Partner of GORD’s Sustainability Summit in October 2019, which includes the production of two panel sessions focused on energy and climate change.  Over the years, Sustainability Summit has set the bar on global and regional stage, bringing industry specialists, policy makers and practitioners under one roof to discuss the promises and pitfalls of sustainability.
